Co-founder Charlie Landis Sr. worked most his life in the wine and spirit industry, from frontline sales to owning a wine shop to managing a major distributor. On top of his keen professional and personal skills, he was extremely creative, known for his art, often ‘tinkering,’ wowing the family and customers alike with his creations. Combining industry expertise and limitless ability with hands and tools, he and Charlie Jr. founded CLD in 1980.
Similarly, Charlie Landis Jr. has 40+ years under his belt in the spirit industry – with deep experience in point-of-sale merchandising. He served as regional market manager for leading national brands, and like his father, Landis Jr. is regarded for his craftsmanship, artist-eye for detail, and designing displays that increase product sales.
With rough hands and sharp vision, Charlie has run the steadily growing family business for over 30 years. He and the rest of us are proud to uphold a tradition of work that is precise and professional.
